Neeraj Chopra reiterates impressive title achievements
Neeraj Chopra proudly repeats titles earned on remarkable journey
Neeraj Chopra, the world champion and defending Asian Games champion in javelin throw, has returned home after a triumphant season that began in May and ended in October. Despite winning medals, he's already looking ahead to the Paris Olympics next year.
Chopra plans to enjoy some family time and relish home-cooked dishes like halwa, choorma, and desi laddoo. However, he's mindful not to indulge for too long to avoid putting on excess weight. He intends to resume training promptly to prepare for the Paris Olympics.
Goals for the upcoming season
Defending titles remains a significant motivation for the reigning Olympic, world, and Asian champion. He aspires to replicate his past achievements at the Olympics and "repeat the titles" he has won.

Chopra competed in six events this season, securing medals, but he feels that his throwing distances could have been better. A groin injury in the middle of the season disrupted his rhythm, and he acknowledges the challenge of regaining peak fitness mid-season.
Looking to improve
Despite his successful season, Chopra believes he can perform even better. He aims to unlock his full potential and improve his technical skills to achieve longer throws next year. His goal is not only to consistently throw above 90 meters but also to cross the 90-meter mark.
